Fit Being more fit can be as easy as a lunge or push-up between builds.

It does not take a lot of time to become more healthy and fit. Whether it is drinking more water, doing a lunge, squat or push-up between builds or emails, doing a 20 minute intense workout or a going to the gym, small changes can help you feel better a little at a time.

The Fit Techie believes that doing something, no matter how small is better than doing nothing.


There are a varying opinions on this however an easy way to start is the 8 x 8 rule. That is 8 glasses of 8 OZ of water a day. If you are drinking at least that much then this article on How Much Water Should I Drink? offers more information on exact amounts.

Try to find about 20 minutes to do a short but intense workout. You can find lots of workouts to try online some free some paid. I am currently doing Insanity Max 30 but I know others doing P90X or any number of other routines. The point is doing something.

If you are having trouble finding that much time, start with a couple lunges, or squats or push-ups between emails or between builds. Still having trouble? There is always the option of taking the stairs instead of the eleveator or walking to get lunch.
